Hi, I'm Katy! An Illustrator based in the Kent countryside.
I enjoy celebrating people and place. My style utilises delightful hand-made textures and collage, to create joyful and expressive worlds. Communicating ideas and telling stories in playful and accessible ways is important to me.
My illustrations have found place within editorial, publishing and marketing. However, I'm open to all kinds of projects.
I also work in Art Departments, where I've designed & created visuals, graphics and props for shows on Sky, BBC and ITV.
In my spare time, you can find me sipping on pear juice and running Creative Coffee Morning, a monthly virtual event for creatives to meet, chat and grow their network!

"It was brilliant working with Katy for The Happy Newspaper. Not only were her illustrations delivered in a timely manner, but she was a joy to communicate with and her illustrations speak for themselves. I keep noticing new details in the crowd scene she created for us and I will come back to enjoy it time and time again." - Zabby Allen, The Happy Newspaper
"I have worked with Katy on a number of projects including editorial and book illustrations. Her playful style contains a rich quality that also brings gravitas to the subject. Working with Katy is easy and enjoyable. She's quick to understand each commission and provides brilliant sketch ideas. She takes on feedback effortlessly and her final artwork is of the best quality. In one succinct sentence — she is a delight to work with."
- Cathy McKinnon, Oh Magazine / Summerhill Trust
"I loved working with Katy for the last issue of The Author - her ideas, colours and energy were on point. Go hire her!" - Carlotta Eden, Society of Authors
"Katy's a real pleasure to work with. Hugely creative, her unique artwork and attention to detail is second to none. On the studio floor Katy is sharp and takes the pressure of TV production in her stride, always with a smile. Thoroughly recommend." - Nic Ayling, Executive Producer at Terrific Television
